Course Overview Classroom Session: Begin with an overview of drysuit types, maintenance, and safety procedures. Learn how drysuits differ from wetsuits in terms of buoyancy, thermal protection, and how to manage air inside the suit. Confined Water Practice: In a controlled environment, practice key drysuit skills like buoyancy control, descent and ascent techniques, and emergency procedures for added safety and comfort. Open Water Dives: Complete two open water dives where you’ll put your skills into practice, adapting to real-world cold-water conditions. These dives will help you become comfortable with drysuit operation, preparing you for a variety of cold-water dive locations. Equipment Requirements Drysuit Rental: A drysuit is required for this course, and we can assist with rentals to ensure proper fit and comfort. Personal Gear: Bring your own mask, fins, and snorkel.
